The Garden Beer Market holds a special place in the Shipyards Night Market story. Kyle, nephew of original founder Ingrid Doerr, is deeply connected to the beer garden's operations — ensuring that the spirit of community and celebration that Ingrid championed lives on in every pour.
When Dani MacPherson and iMADE brought the market back in 2022, the Doerr family's blessing came with a shared understanding: the Shipyards Night Market would always be about bringing people together. The beer garden embodies that philosophy — a welcoming, free-entry space where strangers become neighbours over a local craft beer.
Operated by The Garden Beer Market Co., the beer garden features rotating taps from local BC breweries and craft beverage makers, ensuring there's always something new to discover alongside your favourite staples.
